Notice to potential contributors

If you're interested in contributing a story or trip report to this WWW site, please contact Peter Armitage at parmitage at nl dot rogers dot com.    Armitage can help you mount digital maps and photographs on the site along with your text as long as the file sizes are not too big.  He can digitize maps and photographs if you lack the equipment to do this. A trip report could include the following elements:

1. where you put your boats in the water and where you left the water.
2. date of trip, departure and arrival times for various legs of your journey.
3. members of your team.
4. water, temperature, wind conditions, weather in general.
5. safety considerations, places to land in an emergency; danger areas, etc.?
6. wildlife observations en route. Where you saw whales, eagles, etc.
7. people/cultural observations en route. Fishing stations you visited, people you met.
8. overall rating of the trip in terms of difficulty, pleasure, scenery, wildlife, etc.
9. maps and photographs.
